C-TRAN OFFICE - MASS TIMBER

Mass timber Moisture Management Plans are a challenge to specify contractually, as they tend to involve means and methods of the Contractor’s purview.  As a publicly bid project, that meant more difficulties in getting all the players in the room before bid to inform the Moisture Management Plan.  Using the Basis Of Design tool developed for many projects with success, this offered a path forward.  At the main entry, single pane storefront was used as a wind screen in the wall that was skyward facing, however both sides of storefront were outside the enclosure.
